Germany is undergoing a fundamental economic transformation – backed by a €500 billion Infrastructure & Climate Fund and €600 billion in defence spending through 2029 – unlocking scalable opportunities for private capital.

FAQ

  • Attendance at the Invest in Germany Summit is currently by personal invitation only.

    You are welcome to register via the "stay connected" button on the bottom of this website. We will then keep you informed about relevant updates in the context of the “Invest in Germany” initiative.

  • Invest in Germany is organised by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on behalf of the German Federal Government. Participation is free of charge. Guests are asked to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

  • The Summit is explicitly designed to bring together CEOs of global market leaders, international investors, and the Federal Government in order to translate investment potential into concrete projects over time.

    Representation by another global C-level executive may be considered on a case-by-case basis. For individual arrangements, please contact us directly.

  • Four to five weeks before the summit, we will launch an app to facilitate the scheduling of bilateral meetings between participants. The venue will include dedicated breakout rooms for this purpose, bookable directly through the app.

  • Through the app, participants can request bilateral meetings with ministers. These sessions are designed to be concise, lasting 15 minutes.

    Request submissions will open several weeks in advance and close no later than one week before the summit, allowing sufficient time to prepare the meetings adequately.

    Please note that there are limited time slots available. While no guarantee can be given, the organising team will make every effort to accommodate all meeting requests appropriately.

  • Accompanying persons are generally welcome to attend bilateral meetings. However, they may not participate in the regular conference programme, i.e., the opening and closing plenary sessions, and the deep-dive sessions. Required personal security and interpreters may also be registered.

  • Due to the international nature and target audience of the Invest in Germany Summit, the entire event will be held in English.

    On the registration page, guests are asked whether they will be accompanied by an interpreter and can enter the interpreter’s name directly there. Alternatively, this information can be provided at a later date.

    Guests will receive all further relevant information regarding on-site interpreter accompaniment before the event.

  • The summit will largely take place behind closed doors to facilitate an open exchange. Selected elements, including the opening part of the conference day with the chancellor’s welcome speech, are open to the press. More information will be available shortly.

  • The new Invest in Germany initiative will – beyond the Invest in Germany Summit 2026 – create new opportunities for information and dialogue, providing you with services and contacts to make investing in our country even easier. This includes digital meetings and events in Germany and around the world. Register via "stay connected" to stay up to date.
