Why invest in Germany?

Europe’s leading investable pipeline

Germany is undergoing a fundamental economic transformation – backed by a €500 billion Infrastructure & Climate Fund and €600 billion in defence spending through 2029 – unlocking scalable opportunities for private capital.

Unparalleled investment security

The historic constitutional amendment of March 2025 provides investors with investment security, guarantees fiscal capacity and removes political risk – in the only G7 country with an AAA rating from all three major rating agencies.

Reforms are underway

Substantial reforms are ongoing: abolished gas storage levy, reduced grid fees, lowered electricity tax and accelerated approval procedures.

FAQ

How can I register for the Summit?

Attendance at the Invest in Germany Summit is currently by personal invitation only.

You are welcome to register via the "stay connected" button on the bottom of this website. We will then keep you informed about relevant updates in the context of the “Invest in Germany” initiative.

How much does it cost to attend?

Invest in Germany is organised by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on behalf of the German Federal Government. Participation is free of charge. Guests are asked to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

Can someone other than the CEO represent our organisation?

The Summit is explicitly designed to bring together CEOs of global market leaders, international investors, and the Federal Government in order to translate investment potential into concrete projects over time.

Representation by another global C-level executive may be considered on a case-by-case basis. For individual arrangements, please contact us directly.

Will there be logistical support for one-on-one meetings between participants?

Participants can use the app to schedule bilateral meetings with one another. The venue includes dedicated breakout rooms for this purpose, which can be booked directly through the app.

The organising team is available to assist with any issues, including during the event itself, at invest-in-germany@bmwe.bund.de.

How can meetings with ministers be arranged?

To request a bilateral meeting with a minister, please send your request to government-bilaterals@invest-in-germany.com, ideally outlining the key topics you would like to discuss. These sessions are designed to be concise, lasting 15 minutes.

Requests should be sent no later than October 2, allowing sufficient time to prepare the meetings adequately. Please note that there are limited time slots available.

While no guarantee can be given, the organising team will make every effort to accommodate all meeting requests appropriately. Once a meeting is confirmed, it will be added to the event app together with the assigned room.

How are accompanying persons handled?

Accompanying persons are generally welcome to attend bilateral meetings. However, they may not participate in the regular conference programme, i.e., the opening and closing plenary sessions, and the deep-dive sessions. Required personal security and interpreters may also be registered.

In what language will the summit be held and are interpreters available?

Due to the international nature and target audience of the Invest in Germany Summit, the entire event will be held in English.

On the registration page, guests are asked whether they will be accompanied by an interpreter and can enter the interpreter’s name directly there. Alternatively, this information can be provided at a later date.

Guests will receive all further relevant information regarding on-site interpreter accompaniment before the event.

Is the event open to the press?

The summit will largely take place behind closed doors to facilitate an open exchange. Selected elements, including the opening part of the conference day with the chancellor’s welcome speech, are open to the press. More information will be available shortly.

Who can I contact for more information?

Invited guests can reach out to invest-in-germany@bmwe.bund.de with questions about the event.
